TurningPoint is a learning tool that facilitates active participation in presentations or lectures. It can be used for in-class polls, attendance checks, discussions, and quizzes. Students use a clicker or other hand-held/computer device to submit responses to interactive questions. The system records answers from each student and provides instant histograms of student responses.Question polling can also be conducted by using content in other formats — web browsers, PDFs, PowerPoint, Word documents, and more. It is ideal for large lectures when full participation is desired but not easily achieved and to gather feedback on student learning to make informed instructional decisions.
