Student Engagement Strategy
Jake Williams is the Vice President of Information Technology for the Student Government Association (SGA) at Georgia Tech. Considering the changes in the software industry and institute policy, Jake works with administration to represent student opinion on the direction and goals of Information Technology. Jake also oversees the SGA IT Development Board which creates software that benefits students and plays an instrumental role in distributing over 1.5 million dollars to student organizations.
Jake is a 3rd year Computer Science major with a Math minor, and has worked in a campus lab doing research in data analytics & visualization. Additionally, he has interned at several software companies including Google, Square, and The Home Depot.
