You're invited to attend the Summit on Accessible and Equitable Learning in a Quasi-Post-Pandemic World, sponsored by Microsoft and the Georgia Institute of Technology's Center for 21st Century Universities. This summit will explore how digital accessibility tools and best practices can be leveraged to address issues of access, equity, and inclusion from a universal design perspective.

The summit will take place virtually, over three days:

Sept. 26 - 11 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. ET
Oct. 3 - 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET
Oct. 4 - 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET

Attendees are welcome to attend all sessions on all three days, or whichever sessions work for their schedule. A detailed schedule will be provided for registrants in September.

Topics will include, but are not limited to:

  • Accessible course design and quality personalized learning;

  • Education, awareness, resources, and support for faculty development;

  • Broadband and digital device access for all (take-home technology, and BYOD);

  • Technology’s role, today and in the future, in creating equitable learning environments.

The summit will include invited speakers, lightning presentations, and focus groups. The goal of this gathering is to produce a roadmap for accessible and equitable learning environments in a quasi-post-pandemic world that is highly influenced by technology.
