Student Engagement Strategy
Nikita Rajput is the Vice President of Information Technology for the Student Government Association (SGA) at Georgia Tech. Analyzing changes in the software industry and delegating student opinion to guide institute policy, Nikita works alongside with administration to represent the student body on future goals and the upcoming direction of Information Technology at the institute. Nikita also oversees the 25+ member SGA IT Development Board, which collaborates with student organizations and campus departments in creating software and pushing policy that benefits students. Nikita also serves on the Tech Fee committee which plays an instrumental role in allocating over 1.5 million dollars to academic departments.
A 3rd year Computer Science major with a minor in Computing and Business as a scholar the Denning Technology and Management Program, Nikita has done undergraduate research in Human Computer Interaction and also serves as a teaching assistant. Additionally, she has interned at several software companies including Intel, Ingenious Med, and The Home Depot.
