Telephone Feature Management

Service Description: 

Feature change requests for existing Georgia Tech-issued telephone lines, Voice Mail passcode resets and requests for phone number or Caller ID changes.

Service Levels: 

Support Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00AM-5:00PM EST

Expected turnaround time: 2 Business Days.

Requirements: 

Notice to End-Users: If you need changes to, or are having problems with your Georgia Tech-issued telephony equipment, you must contact your departmental Telecom Coordinator (TCO) who will submit a support request to the OIT Telecom Team on your behalf. If you don't know who your assigned TCO is, please refer to your building administrator for assistance.

Only Departmental TCO's are authorized to submit requests from this point forward.

Billing information will be collected as part of the fulfillment process for certain types of service requests, so please have that information available as appropriate. Please refer to the schedule of charges for cost details.

If request involves 10 or more lines, additional information may be needed, as well as a minimum of 10 days to process the request.

Use this service offering for requesting changes to Caller ID, Dialing Template, phone numbers and dialing capabilities/NCOS. Also use for adding or removing Voice Mail feature from existing lines or resetting Voice Mail passcodes.
