Over-the-network backups of Institute-owned servers configured in the gatech.edu domain as well as for data sets hosted in OIT-managed enterprise storage arrays.
As of November 2019, OIT will be offering VEEAM as the new central IT system backup and migration solution for campus. This solution was chosen as part of the build out of CODA as a center for innovation as well as new datacenter space to support IT services on campus.
Prior to VEEAM, the requirements for a backup were centered around EMC NetWorker which was the backup solution for campus prior to VEEAM. NetWorker will still be used for existing backups until those backups are transitioned to VEEAM. However, EMC NetWorker will not be available for any new backups or systems. Only existing backups.

If requesting this service for the first time, a formal Service Level Agreement contract must first be completed and approved by the appropriate unit heads. Please contact the SLA Coordinator at email@example.com to obtain the applicable forms.
