Georgia Tech’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is tracking Hurricane Helene, a storm that the National Weather Service says may be an “unprecedented event” for Atlanta. Primary hazards include significant rainfall with the potential to cause flash flooding as well as wind gusts that have the potential to affect trees and power lines.
